Associates of Seaport Consultants Asia advised and provided commercial and technical due diligence to an investment bank in respect of funding a container terminal on a green field site in Vietnam. 

The terminal located near Saigon has several competitors under development and has issues related to hinterland connectivity. Construction of a terminal on the site is complicated as it is founded on 60 m of soft silt.
