The Seaport Group advises ports, governments and other stakeholders on the strategic planning, development and operations of ports and terminals. This advice is based on years of experience in the development and management of ports and terminals to handle among other commodities:
Containers
Coal
Cement
Iron Ore
Crude Oil
Refined Products
Project Cargo
Cars
Paper
Advice has previously been given in Australia, India, China, Europe and the US as well as most countries in Southeast Asia. Studies undertaken have covered economics, traffic forecasts, operations reviews and the preparation of business, master and strategic plans.
Seaport also undertakes forensic investigations. These services include inspections after major accidents within ports with a view to advising on the cause of the accident, how to most effectively repair any physical damage and how to ensure the operation of the port is affected as little as possible during the repairs.
Some examples of Seaport projects in strategic advice are shown below: National Port Master Plan for Indonesia
