Advice has previously been given in Australia, India, China, Europe and the US as well as most countries in Southeast Asia. Studies undertaken have covered economics, traffic forecasts, operations reviews and the preparation of business, master and strategic plans.

Seaport also undertakes forensic investigations. These services include inspections after major accidents within ports with a view to advising on the cause of the accident, how to most effectively repair any physical damage and how to ensure the operation of the port is affected as little as possible during the repairs.
