In connection with Pier 1’s difficulty in reaching satisfactory productivities in the terminal, Seaport Innovations was invited to investigate the reason for the operations difficulties. The findings pointed in the direction of too small distances between equipment, containers, light poles, etc. Seaport Innovations therefore developed a cost efficient solution to the problem and with the least operations disturbances.
